Mr. Wilbur Harold Green, 75 of Rincon, passed away Saturday, December 12, 2020, at the Hospice Satilla Hospice House.
Born in Lake City, FL on February 9, 1945, he had lived in Rincon, GA for the past 26 years, with his wife, and had a home in Blackshear where he planned to retire. Mr. Green retired from American Tire where he had been a wholesale tire salesman. He loved music, photography, fishing, reading, woodworking, gardening, and his fur babies, Sadie, Sophie, Toby, Pippie, and Allie.
He was a son of the late Wilbur St. Clair & Ida Mildred King Green. He was also preceded in death by his sister, Genevieve Horton; and his brother, Rodney Green.
Survivors include his wife, Barbara Crosby Green; two sons, Tim Green and Randall (Immy) Green of Jacksonville , FL; a step-daughter, Tonya (Brian) Thompson of Nahunta; a step-son, David Crosby of Blackshear; his mother-in-law, Frankie Crosby of Blackshear; 6 grandchildren, Teresa (BJ) Sumner, Taton Thompson, Taylor Thompson, Bailey (Dillon) Turner, Jessica (David) Drawdy, and Brennon Thompson; 12 great grandchildren; a niece, Linda (Eddie) Saylor of Lake City; and several other relatives.
Funeral services for Mr. Green will be held Saturday, December 19, 2020, at 2:00 pm from the Pearson-Dial Chapel.
The family will receive friends at the chapel one hour prior to the service.
