Wanda Gail (Britt) Davis

Ms. Wanda Gail Britt Davis, 69, of Blackshear, passed away Thursday morning, June 20, 2024, at her residence.

Born in Blackshear, Ga on May 15, 1955, she lived in Pierce County most of her life.  Ms. Davis received her Licensed Practical Nurse degree and worked for the former Pierce County Hospital before becoming disabled.  She was of the Baptist faith and enjoyed painting and drawing/sketching.

She was a daughter of the late Maurice & Christine Banks Britt.  She was also preceded in death by a stepdaughter, Kelly Crosby; a brother, Wayne Britt; and two brothers-in-law, Monni Carden & Andy Driggers.

Survivors include her daughter, Nikki Davis of Blackshear; her son, Chris of Kodak, TN; 3 sisters, Wilda Carden of Barnwell, SC, Linda (Poggie) Herrin of Blackshear, and Donna Driggers of Bristol, GA; two brothers, Warren (Robin) Britt of Waycross and Wade (Amy) Britt of Lake Butler, FL; 4 grandchildren, Bailee Britt, Bentlee Davis, Anslee Davis, and Jacey Zipperer; special niece and nephew, Tess Crosby and Kyle Davis; a special friend, Coye Bunton of Blackshear; and several other nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home on Saturday afternoon, June 22, 2024, from 5-6.

Interment will be in the Blackshear Cemetery.
