Travis Earl Stone

Mr. Travis Earl Stone, 64 of Blackshear, passed away Monday, November 29, 2021, at his residence.

Born in Blackshear, GA on December 19, 1956, he had lived in Brunswick for many years before moving back to Blackshear two years ago. He was a retired landscaper with the Jekyll Island Authority. He had true love for plants and an amazing green thumb. Mr. Stone was a loving friend and the best uncle ever who loved to play practical jokes. He was of the Baptist faith.

He was the son of the late Andrew & Grace Evelyn Murphy Stone.

Survivors include his two sisters, Geraldine Mixon of Fernandina Beach and Barbra Ann Crawford of Blackshear; numerous special nieces and nephews; his four-legged children, Buddy and Floppy; and many other relatives and friends.

Visitation for Mr. Stone will be held Friday evening from 6-8 at the funeral home.

Memorialization will be by cremation.
