Tracey Arlene Brooke (Higgs) Higgs

Ms. Tracey Arlene Brooke Higgs, 44, of Blackshear, passed away Sunday afternoon, April 7, 2024, at her residence.

Born in Waycross, GA on April 21, 1979, she lived in Pierce County most of her life.  Ms. Higgs had worked as a clerk for Dollar General as well as other retail stores and attended Remnant Church.  She enjoyed fishing and going to the beach, was a true Georgia Bulldog fan, and loved spending time and playing with her four grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her stepfather, Bill Tillman, Jr.; and by her sister, Kimberly Dawn Higgs.

Survivors include her children, Tyler (Destiny) Sweat of Patterson and Candace Marie Sweat of Waycross; her parents, Patricia “Pat” Whittle Tillman of Blackshear and James (Teri) Higgs, Jr. of Blackshear; two stepsisters, Vicki (Alan) Jeffords of Waycross and Selina (Archy) Bennett of Dixie Union; 4 grandchildren William Sweat, Langston Sweat, Braxton Moody, and Addy Moody; and several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

Funeral services for Ms. Higgs will be held Wednesday morning, April 10, 2024, at 11 o’clock from the Pearson-Dial Funeral Home Chapel.

Visitation for Ms. Higgs will be held one hour prior to the service in the funeral home chapel.

Interment will be in the Mershon Cemetery.
