Tony Lee Cade

Mr. Tony Lee Cade, 62 of Blackshear, passed away Wednesday, February 10, 2021 at Memorial Satilla Health.

Born in Blackshear, GA on January 13, 1959, he had lived in Pierce County all of his life.  Mr. Cade had worked in construction for many years – first with Wayne Dixon and Associates then with Coastal Vinyl and Truss – before becoming disabled.  He loved fishing more than anything but also enjoyed gardening, making homemade wine, and “junking” (collecting all sorts of things).  Mr. Cade was a deacon at Big Creek Primitive Baptist Church.

He was a son of the late Walter Raleigh Cade.  He was also preceded in death by his wife, Bernice Adams Cade; and by a sister, Tammy Walker.

Survivors include his four sons, Brandon (Robin) Cade of Bremen, Shaun Cade of Blackshear, Josh Cade of Waycross, and Adrian Cade of Blackshear; his mother, Minnie Murray Cade of Blackshear; two sisters, Scarlet (Gary) Dell and Angel Watson all of Blackshear; two brothers, Stanley (Sarah) Cade of Blackshear and Wayne (Vicky) Cade of Loveland, OH; two brothers-in-law, Evan Walker of Patterson and Ricky O’Neal of Blackshear; his best friend and companion, Debbie Crews of Blackshear; 7 grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

Funeral services for Mr. Cade will be held Monday morning, February 15, 2021, at 11 o’clock from the Big Creek Primitive Baptist Church.

Interment will be in the Big Creek Cemetery.

Visitation will be held at the church one hour prior to the service.
