Thomas Sebron "Tom" Wasdin

Mr. Thomas Sebron “Tom” Wasdin, 63 of Patterson, passed away Thursday, November 11, 2021, at the Great Plains Medical Center in North Platte, NE.

Born in Blackshear, GA on January 6, 1958, he had lived in Appling and Pierce Counties all of his life. Mr. Wasdin was a US Navy veteran and was the owner/operator of his own truck with Crete Trucking. He loved to tell his siblings what to do, lived to pick on them, was an avid Bulldog fan, and loved all animals especially his dogs. He was a very generous man who had a heart of gold and he dearly loved his family. He was of the Baptist faith.

He was a son of the late Colon James & Rheba Jeanette Walker Wasdin. He was also preceded in death by a nephew, Jeffery Allen Wilson.

Survivors include three sisters, Saundra Miller and Nancy Wilson both of Jesup and Cynthia (Jimmy) Thornton of Patterson; a brother, Colon Dwayne (Sherry) Wasdin of Patterson; 8 grandchildren, Melody Parrish, Serenity Parrish, Aubree Barnes, Dalton Parrish, Emersyn Pierce, Nevaeh Simmons, Oliver Mallard, and Owen Mallard; a special friend, Llanny Menoza of the Philippines; and several other relatives and friends.

Graveside services for Mr. Wasdin will be held Thursday morning, November 18, 2021, at 11:00 o’clock from the Lake Chapel Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the cemetery one hour prior to the service.
