Terri Lee (Harvey) Davis

Mrs. Terri Lee Harvey Davis, 61 of Blackshear, passed away Saturday, August 6, 2022, at her residence.

Born in Savannah, GA on May 7, 1961, she had grown up in Jacksonville and moved back to Blackshear in 1982.  Mrs. Davis had worked for Pic-n-Save and later General Office Supply prior to working as a para-pro at the former Grady Street School. She would go on to run her own daycare out of her home – a job she truly enjoyed.  Mrs. Davis loved to watch tv, listen to music, and shop (especially for jewelry).  She was a Christian by faith and was very spiritual.

She was a daughter of the late Joseph & Ruth Henderson Harvey.  She was also preceded in death by her sister, Linda Faye Bowen; and a brother, Steve Harvey.

Survivors include her husband of 35 years, Roger Davis of Blackshear; her son and daughter-in-law, Michael & Vera Davis of Blackshear; her brother and sister-in-law, Thomas (Helen) Harvey of Jacksonville; a brother-in-law, Jimmy Bowen of Rincon; and several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

Funeral services for Mrs. Davis will be held Wednesday afternoon, August 10, 2022, at 1:00 o’clock from the Faith Baptist Church with Rev. Mark Summers officiating.

Interment will be in the Ramah Cemetery.

Visitation for Mrs. Davis will be held at the church one hour prior to the service.
