Ms. Teri Elizabeth Williams, 58, of Blackshear, passed away Sunday evening, May 5, 2024, at Memorial Satilla Health in Waycross.
Born in Blackshear, GA on May 1, 1966, she lived in Pierce County all her life. Teri was a secretary for GATX and just retired on May 2nd after 33 years of service. Teri was a devoted member of Emmanuel Baptist Church where she had taught the 3 years old Sunday school class for over 20 years. She loved going to the beach, spending time with both of her boys and her family, meeting people, and just life in general.
She was a daughter of the late Layman Odean & Elizabeth Nell Kicklighter Williams.
Survivors include her two sons, Devin Williams of Butner, NC and Clay Williams of Blackshear; her sister, Lynn (Joe) Taylor of Blackshear; three brothers, Danny (Kathy) Williams, Lanny (Cindy) Williams, and Randy (Lisa) Williams all of Blackshear; and several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
As per Teri’s request, memorialization will be by cremation and there will be no service.

The family would like to thank the staff of Southeast Georgia Health System Cancer Center – Brunswick Campus as well as Dr. Abraham Cheong and Staff for all of their wonderful care and devotion shown to Teri during her illness.
