Mrs. Teresa Darlene Altman Wilson, 68, of Blackshear, passed away Monday morning, April 21, 2025, at her residence.
Born in Blackshear on March 23, 1957, she had lived most of her life in Pierce County. Mrs. Wilson had worked for many years as a seamstress with Julie Hat Co. in Patterson but had most recently been employed by Williamson Income Tax Service. She loved being outdoors, whether hunting or fishing. She also loved to cook and spend time with her family, especially her grandchildren, whom she loved very much.
She was a daughter of the late Joseph Alan and Alveta Thornton Altman. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Marion Steve Wilson, Jr.; a daughter, Liz Sharpe; and a brother, Troy Altman.
She is survived by her son, Nick (Kim) Hickox, of Brunswick; a sister, Harriett (David) Williams, of Blackshear; two brothers, Joey Altman of Alma, and Stevie Altman of Blackshear; three grandchildren, Bill Sharpe, Jr., Taylor (Darian) Sharpe, and MiKayla McIlwain; one great-grandson, River Wade Sharpe; and several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
A private family burial will be held Saturday at Shiloh Cemetery.
