Stephanie Elizabeth (Pickett) Proulx

Mrs. Stephanie Elizabeth Pickett Proulx, 34 of Waycross, passed away Sunday, November 14, 2021, at her residence.

Born in Macon, GA on November 29, 1986, she had lived in Waycross since 2002. Stephanie graduated from Ware County High School in 2005 and three years later, married her high school sweetheart, Gerald Proulx. She was a former driver for Hope Transport and at the time of her passing was a homemaker. Stephanie loved arts and crafts, watching movies with her family, and living life to the fullest. Her greatest passion, joy, and love was for her ten-year-old son, Kyran Gambit Proulx. She will be dearly missed by her family, friends, and especially her son.

She was a daughter of the late Stephen McCullough Pickett, Sr., and the late Joni Marie Tatum Edwards.

Survivors include her husband, Gerald Proulx of Waycross; a son, Kyran Gambit Proulx; two brothers, Stephen McCullough Pickett Jr. (Stephanie) of Blackshear and James Poole (Rebecca) of Waycross; a sister, Jessica Elliot (Simon) of England; nieces and nephews, Madison Pickett, Cameron Woodall, Brittany, Austin, Ralynn, and Colton Poole, Sienna Elliot, Camden Proulx, and Dagen Proulx; her stepmother, Elizabeth Diane Pickett of Byron; her mother-in-law, Lynn Shelton; and several other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends Sunday, November 21, 2021, from 2 to 3 o’clock at the Pearson-Dial Funeral Home.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at her brother’s (Stephen McCollough Pickett) house for her family immediately following the visitation.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to the funeral home to help offset the funeral expenses.
