Shirley Ann (Hardee) Maifarth

Ms. Shirley Ann Hardee Maifarth, 76, of Patterson, passed away Thursday, October 5, 2023, at the Hospice Satilla Hospice House in Waycross.

Born in Patterson, GA on March 6, 1947, she lived in Florida for several years prior to moving back to Pierce County in 2007.  Ms. Maifarth was the Vice President of the Commercial Loan Department for Florida National Bank of Orlando before having to retire due to her health.  She was a devoted member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church and dearly loved her church family especially her church babies.

She was a daughter of the late Wade Albert & Mary Jewell Bernard Hardee.

Survivors include her sister, Patricia Hardee of Patterson; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Joe & Nancy Hardee and Steve & Nadine Hardee all of Zellwood, FL; and several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

Graveside services for Ms. Maifarth will be held Monday afternoon, October 9, 2023, at 12:00 o’clock from the Greenwood Cemetery in Apopka, FL with Dr. Virgil Lovett officiating.

Memorials may be made to the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church, 1871 Tyre Bridge Road, Patterson, GA  31557.
