Shelia (Pearson) Vickers

Mrs. Shelia Pearson Vickers, 61 of Hoboken, passed away Saturday, January 15, 2022, at her residence.

Born in Waycross, GA on September 30, 1960, she had lived in Brantley County all of her life.  Mrs. Vickers was a rural mail carrier for the United States Postal Service and was a member of Mt. Calvary Baptist Church.  She enjoyed living on the farm and loved her job and crocheting.

She was a daughter of the late Clarence Everett “Bud” & Gussie Lee Dowling Pearson.  She was also preceded in death by her sister, Mary Pearson; and her brother, Ricky Pearson. 

Survivors include her husband of 39 years, Tommy Vickers, Jr. of Hoboken; two daughters and a son-in-law, Erin & Josh Lee, and Ana Vickers all of Hoboken; a granddaughter, Elizabeth Lee; her mother-in-law, Carolyn Harper of Brunswick; a special friend, Loretta Altman of Brunswick; and several other relatives and friends.

Graveside services for Mrs. Vickers will be held Wednesday, January 19, 2022, at 2 pm from the High Bluff Cemetery.

Visitation for Mrs. Vickers will be held Tuesday evening, January 18, 2022, from 6-8 at the funeral home.
