Shanna Michelle (Roberson) Chesser

Mrs. Shanna Michelle Roberson Chesser, 45, of Patterson, passed away Sunday morning, September 8, 2024, at Memorial Hospital in Jacksonville, Florida.

Born in Waycross, GA on April 28, 1979, she lived in Pierce County all her life.  Shanna was a 1998 graduate of Pierce County High School and was the manager of SonShine Kids Daycare and The Growing Patch in Patterson.  She loved fishing, shopping, spending time with family and friends, and getting out, traveling and seeing new places.  Shanna underwent a kidney transplant in 2013 and was known as being a selfless person who was always there to help others.  She was a member of Offerman Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her father, Clayton Milton Roberson.

Survivors include her husband, Brian Chesser of Patterson; her mother, Iris Davis Roberson Aspinwall of Patterson; her uncle, Joe Davis of Patterson; her “Ma and Pa”, Lisa and Tony Gill of Patterson; her father and mother-in-law, Gene & Janet Chesser of Seville, FL; her sister-in-law, Amanda “Beth” Chesser of Seville; a special friend, Jordyn Boyette of Odum; a niece, Hadlee Jane Boyette of Odum; and several other relatives and friends.

Funeral services for Shanna will be held Thursday afternoon, September 12, 2024, at 3:00 o’clock at the Offerman Baptist Church with Rev. Edward Colley officiating.

A visitation will be held Wednesday evening from 6 until 8 at the funeral home.

Interment will be in the Offerman Cemetery.
