Mrs. Saundra Jeanette Wasdin Miller, 75, of Jesup, GA, passed away Saturday, March 4, 2023, in Camden County.
Born in Blackshear, GA on February 20, 1948, she had lived in Florida for many years before moving to Jesup two years ago. Mrs. Miller graduated from Cosmetology school and had worked for many years as a hairdresser. She dearly loved her family and enjoyed traveling especially to the beach and the mountains.
She was a daughter of the late Colon James & Rheba Jeanette Walker Wasdin. She was also preceded in death by both of her sisters, Cynthia Thornton and Nancy Wilson; and a brother, Thomas Wasdin.
Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Robbie & Cyndi Roper of Branford, FL; her brother and sister-in-law, Dwayne & Sherry Wasdin of Patterson; two grandchildren, Jackie (Jason) Armstrong and Jamie (Rufus) Thomas; 5 great grandchildren, Jessie Armstrong, Melody Mattilla, Sullivan Free, Ayasha Deem, and Rufus Thomas, III; and several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
Graveside services for Mrs. Miller will be held Sunday, March 12, 2023, at 2:00 o'clock from the Lake Chapel Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the graveside immediately following the service.
Memorialization will be by cremation.
