Mrs. Russella Louise "Crickett" Cricks, 63 of Patterson, passed away Thursday, September 23, 2021, at Memorial Satilla Health.
Born in Williamsfield, OH on August 23, 1958, she had lived in Pierce County most of her life. Mrs. Cricks loved spending time with her animals and tending to her gardens. She also enjoyed crafts and woodwork. Mrs. Cricks was a devoted Christian and loved the Lord with all her heart. She will be remembered as a strong, affectionate, hardworking wife and mother.
She was a daughter of the late Russell Louis Cricks & Gloria Zayneb Hayden.
Survivors include her husband, Clinton Tony Forrister of Nahunta; two daughters, Brandy Moody and Michelle Douberly both of Patterson; two sons, J.R. Moody of Blackshear and Kevin Douberly of Patterson; two sisters, Shari Scurry of Waycross and Victoria Michaux of Texas; four brothers, James Cunningham of Macon, Jeff Cunningham and Donnie Cunningham both of Waycross, and Russell Cricks of Ohio; 8 grandchildren, Chance Moody, Dawson Moody, Gavan Moody, Mason Hersey, Kelson Moody, Cameron Douberly, Kyler Douberly and Faith Douberly; three great grandchildren, Walker Moody, Braxton Moody, and Addie Moody; her best friend, Carolyn “Pug” Miller; and numerous relatives and friends.
Memorial services for Mrs. Cricks will be held Tuesday evening, September 28, 2021, at 6:00 o’clock from the Pearson-Dial Chapel.
Visitation for Mrs. Cricks will be held at Pearson-Dial Funeral Home one-hour prior to the service.
