Russell Christopher "Differ" Leggett, Jr.

Mr. Russell Christopher “Differ” Leggett, Jr., 30 of Idyllwild, CA (formerly of Blackshear), passed away Thursday, October 14, 2021, at in Riverside, CA.

Christopher was born in Waycross, GA on January 17, 1991. He was a 2009 graduate of Pierce County High School. Christopher was currently working in Idyllwild, CA where he had been a resident since 2017. He was a loving son, brother, grandson, and friend and will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

He was a maternal grandson of the late Lanny and Dot Raulerson and paternal grandson of late Eugene and Mamie Leggett.

Survivors include his parents, Holly and Greg Belew of Blackshear and Chris and Penny Leggett of Hortense; two sisters, Hannah Belew of Blackshear and Whitney Lewis of Hortense; his brother, Kyler Lewis of Adel; his maternal grandparents, Bob and Sharon Belew of Greensboro and Dell Belew of Savannah; his paternal grandparents, Deryl and Elnita Davison of Hortense; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, and other relatives.

Funeral services for Christopher will be held Friday morning, October 29, 2021, at 11:00 o’clock from the Pearson-Dial Funeral Home Chapel.

Interment will be in the Shady Grove Cemetery.

Visitation for Christopher will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home chapel.

Members of the PCHS Class of 2009 are kindly requested to serve as honorary pallbearers.  Please meet at the funeral home chapel by 10:30 Friday morning.
