Mr. Robert Michael “Mike” Boatright, 64, of Yulee, FL, passed away Friday, May 22, 2020, in Jacksonville, FL.
Born in Blackshear on January 7, 1956, he had lived most of his life in Jacksonville. Mike loved football and going fishing. He was a big “cut-up” and he preferred old rock-n-roll music. Mike dearly loved his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He attended Hedges Baptist Church. He will be greatly missed by his family.
He was the a son of the late Dewitt Colon and Betty Jean Eason Boatright. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by brother, Ronnie Boatright.
Survivors include his daughter Tonya Rice of Yulee; five grandchildren, Kenny Cole, Dristen Cole, McKynzi Rice, Christian Huber, and Blayne Ganas; two great grandchildren, Anna Grace Huber, and C.J. Huber; a niece Amanda Boatright; and several other relatives.
Funeral services for Mr. Boatright will be held Friday afternoon, May 29, 2020, at 3 o’clock from the Pearson-Dial Chapel.
Interment will be in the Alabaha Freewill Baptist Church Cemetery.
