Mr. Robert Leslie Boatright, 55 of Patterson, passed away Sunday, February 14, 2021 at his residence.
Born in Waycross, GA on April 6, 1965, he had lived in Pierce County all of his life. Leslie started out working as a bag boy for the former Red & White Supermarket and worked his way up to Meat Cutter for which he was very good at. He would go on to work for Wall’s IGA as their meat cutter before becoming disabled. Leslie enjoyed hunting and fishing and dearly loved his daughter, Maggie. He was a compassionate man who would give you the shirt off of his back. He was also a great family man who had helped raise his nephews over the years. He was of the Baptist faith.
Sadly, Leslie’s mother, Margaret Anne Whitfield Boatright, passed away suddenly the following day.
Survivors include his daughter, Maggie Ann Boatright of Patterson; his father, Thomas Franklin “Rab” Boatright of Patterson; his sister, Anna Maria Boatright of Patterson; his brother and sister-in-law, Greg & Lisa Boatright of Patterson; his nephews, Hunter Boatright and Tyler Boatright; a great niece, Gabbi Boatright; a great nephew, Browning Boatright; and several other relatives and friends.
Graveside services for Leslie will be held Thursday morning, February 18, 2021, at 10:00 o’clock from the Laura Chapel Cemetery.
Visitation will be held at the cemetery one hour prior to the service.
