Richard William "Rich" Mikalik

Richard W. Mikalik, known by friends as Rich, was born on May 21,1941 in Chicago, IL and died peacefully on Saturday, October 7, 2023, in Orange Park, Florida.

He is preceded in death by his parents, John and Mildred Mikalik, and brother, Ephriam all of Illinois, and his brother, John, of Deland, FL.

Rich is survived by his wife, Debbie, of Blackshear, GA; stepdaughter, Elizabeth, and two grandchildren, Leah and Isaac, all of Vero Beach, FL; sister and brother-in-law, Mary & Jim Anderson of Tampa, FL; and many nieces and nephews.

He attended all 12 years at the Rankin School in Illinois and was proud 1959 graduate. After graduation, Rich continued his education at the DeVry Electronic Technical Institute in Chicago.  He was in the National Guard in Illinois; and was a member of the I.O.O.F. Lodge in Illinois as well as the American Legion.

Rich and his wife of 30 years travelled extensively throughout the US and Europe.  Active members of the United Pentecostal Church in Florida and Georgia.

Memorial services for Rich are to be announced at a later date.
