Rhonda Bertha Chaney

Ms. Rhonda Bertha Chaney, 60, of Waycross, passed away Monday, July 15, 2024, at her residence.

Born in Waycross, GA on January 20, 1964, she had lived there all her life. Ms. Chaney enjoyed dancing, live music/karaoke, fishing and going out with her sister.  She adored the color purple and yellow roses.  She was a tender-hearted person and loved her family dearly.

She was a daughter of the late Earl and Bertha Mae Crawford Chaney. 

Survivors include her daughter, Rhonda Carter of Hoboken; one son, Randy (Katie) Teston of Alabama; two sisters, Rosie Chaney and Rebecca Chaney, both of Waycross; a brother, Ronnie Chaney of Blackshear, GA; five grandchildren, Larissa Perez, Livan Carter, Tesila Teston, Randilyn Teston, Tiffany Teston, Dekera Studivent; her former husband, Glen Cox of Alma; and several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

Memorialization will be by cremation and the family will hold a memorial service at a later date.
