Mr. Randy Ray Gill, 66, of Offerman, passed away suddenly Thursday afternoon, February 26, 2026, at his residence.
Born in Jesup, GA on July 22, 1959, he lived in Pierce County all his life. Mr. Gill worked in logging and later in trucking having worked for different carriers before becoming a self-employed truck driver. He loved to be outdoors and always had a project going whether it was working on cars, motorcycles, or lawn mowers. He loved animals, especially dogs, and was an avid collector of Dale Earnhardt, Sr. memorabilia. Mr. Gill dearly loved his family and will be missed by them all.
He was a son of the late Everett Lee & Sally Grace Thomas Gill. He was also preceded in death by his second wife, Edith Thornton King Gill; and a brother, Everett L. Gill, Jr.
Survivors include his wife of 31 years, Huiyon Hong Gill of Offerman; three daughters, Tasha Gill of Patterson and Amber Gill of Offerman, and Vivian (Trenton) Spears of Lawrenceville; two sons and daughters-in-law, Joseph David “J.D.” (Alicia) Boyett of Oklahoma City, OK and Larry Boyett of Yuba City, CA; a brother, Lonnie Gill of Patterson; 10 grandchildren, Addison Walker, Ben Walker, Natalie Boyett, Ryker Walker, Evan Boyett, Raylee Horne, Cullen Walker, Bentley Horne, Mina Boyett, and Emmy Boyett; 2 great grandchildren, Emery Jay Crosby and Jepp Crosby; his little baby, Chi Chi; and several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
Funeral services for Mr. Gill will be held Tuesday morning, March 3, 2026, at 11:00 o’clock from the Pearson-Dial Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Drew Dodd officiating.
The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home chapel one hour prior to the service.
Interment will be in the Offerman Cemetery.
Active pallbearers will be Rob Taylor, Drew Denison, Simon Cason, Trenton Spears, Wade Gill, and Jamee St. Thomas.
