Mrs. Paulette Evelyn Larsen Eason, 74, of Blackshear, passed away Sunday, August 11, 2024, in Jesup.
Born in Jersey City, NJ on May 18, 1950, she had lived in Pierce County most of her adult life. Mrs. Eason retired from Wal-Mart in Waycross after 20 years of service. She had spent the last several years being a homemaker. Mrs. Eason enjoyed shopping and having her nails done. She was the epitome of a loving and devoted wife and still wanted to look good for her husband. Mrs. Eason always enjoyed going to church having been a member of Victory Baptist but was most recently attending Walkerville Baptist with her granddaughter. She loved Jesus and reading her Bible and will be remembered as a loving mother and grandmother.
She was a daughter of the late Jack L. & Eva Angelina Majocchi Larsen. She was also preceded in death by a son, Wayne Eason; her sister, Teresa Martin; and her brother, George Martin.
Survivors include her husband of 57 years, Bayne Eason of Blackshear; three sons, Gerome Eason of Blackshear, Ricky Eason of Odum, and Brennan Eason of Jesup; a daughter-in-law, Cyndi Davis Eason of Odum; 9 grandchildren, Tyler Watkins, Gerniee (Zach) Saylor, Quetin Eason, Romey Eason, Frankie Eason, Bayne Eason, Landon Eason, Sasha Eason, and Jacob Eason; 7 great grandchildren, Eli Watkins, Anna Jade Watkins, Braydon Sweat, Bailey Bryant, Baylen Eason, Gatlen Saylor, and Grayson Saylor; a nephew, Kenneth Martin; and several Eason nieces and nephews, and numerous other relatives.
Funeral services for Mrs. Eason will be held Saturday afternoon, August 17, 2024, at 4 o’clock from the Pearson-Dial Funeral Home Chapel.
The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home chapel 1 hour prior to the service.
Interment will be in the Bristol Cemetery.
