Patricia "Pat" Claudette (Davis) Revels

Mrs. Patricia “Pat” Claudette Davis Revels, 80, of Blackshear, passed away Monday morning, February 24, 2025, at her residence.

Born in Brunswick, GA on December 8, 1944, she grew up in Fernandina Beach, FL but lived most of her adult life in Pierce County.  Mrs. Pat was a homemaker but had also taught sewing classes at Ware Technical College as well as worked at Julie Hat many years ago.  In the 80’s she ran her own catering business and for twenty plus years she and her husband made and sold crafts together.  Mrs. Pat dearly loved her family and enjoyed spending time with them especially with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.  She was a member of Mershon Methodist Church but had also attended Mershon Baptist Church.

She was a daughter of the late James Claude & Mary Elizabeth Rooks Davis.  She was also preceded in death by her husband, Charles Walter Revels; and a sister, Marlene Nerf.

Survivors include her daughter, Sharon (Ashley) Bennett of Blackshear; two sons, Jimmy Revels (Glenn Smith) and Andy Revels all of Mershon; a sister, Donnette (Ronald) Davis of San Antonio, TX; 5 grandchildren, Jordan (Rachel) Bennett, Joshua (Ronni) Bennett, Paige (Chance) Tiner, Walter (Courtney) Revels, and Ryan Erdmier; 7 great grandchildren, Nathan Bennett, Brinley Bennett, Levi Oglesby, Ridge Bennett, Gunner Bennett, Granger Bennett, Brooks Tiner, and an 8th great grandchild due in April, Liza Grace Tiner; and several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

A memorial service for Mrs. Pat will be held Friday morning, February 28, 2025, at 10:00 o’clock from the Mershon Methodist Church with Rev. Tony Walsh officiating.

The family will be receiving friends at the church one hour prior to the service.

Memorialization will be by cremation.
