Pamela Ann "Pam" (Kimbrell) Howard

Ms. Pamela Ann Kimbrell Howard, 68 of Blackshear, passed away early Tuesday morning, December 28, 2021, at Harborview – Pierce County Nursing Home.

Born in Waycross, GA on July 12, 1953, she had lived in Pierce County all her life. Ms. Howard had worked at her father’s feed store, Kimbrell Farm Service, for many years prior to going to work for Griffin’s Tax and Accounting where she worked for 15 years. She had volunteered her time with the Pierce County Nursing Home Auxiliary for many years and was a past president. Ms. Howard had loved going to church (Patterson Baptist Church) before her health began to decline and enjoyed doing crossword puzzles, going to the beach, and being with her family.

She was the daughter of the late Foster & Joann Thrift Kimbrell. She was also preceded in death by her niece, Anna Watson.

Survivors include her daughter, Sheila Howard Tucker of Blackshear; her son, Jon Howard, and his fiancé, Travis Carver of Blackshear; her brother and sister-in-law, Jerry & Margie Kimbrell of Patterson; her grandson, Nicholaus (Elizabeth) Howard of Port Wentworth; her nephew, Matthew (Miranda) Kimbrell of Copperas Cove, TX; great nieces, Skylar Ray and Madilyn Kimbrell; great nephews, T. J. Watson, Jett Watson, and Foster Kimbrell; and several other relatives.

Funeral services for Ms. Howard will be held Monday afternoon, January 3, 2022, at 1:00 o’clock from the Pearson-Dial Chapel.

Interment will be in the Laura Chapel Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday evening from 6-8.

The family kindly requests that members of the Auxiliary at Harborview – Pierce County Nursing Home to serve as honorary pallbearers. Please meet at the funeral home chapel by 12:30 on Monday afternoon.
