Ouida A. "Dale" Dixon

Mrs. Ouida A. “Dale” Head Dixon, 86, of West Lake, FL, passed away Saturday, March 18, 2023, at her residence. 

Born in Bristol, GA on March 10, 1937, she had lived in Florida most of her life.  Mrs. Dixon served as the Church of God Youth Director for the Fort Lauderdale District for several years before going into the ministry full time as the pastor at Faith Fellowship in Boca Raton, a church which she was the founder.  She became a member of the Episcopal Church of the Advent in Spartanburg, SC when she moved there in 2012 to be near her son.  Mrs. Dixon enjoyed playing the piano and loved to shop in boutiques.  She dearly loved her family and so enjoyed the time spent with them.

She was the daughter of the late Alan “Doc” & Eldis Bryson Head.  She was also preceded in death by her husband, Harold Lester Dixon; and both of her brothers, Larry Head and Bud Head.

Survivors include her two sons and daughters-in-law, Chris & Jackie Dixon of West Lake and David and Traci Dixon of Boynton Beach, FL; 6 grandchildren, Mavrick Dixon, Bianca Dixon, Sara Dixon, Jeremiah (Serah) Dixon, Nevaeh Dixon, and Jonah Dixon; a great granddaughter, Alaina Hartleigh; and several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

Graveside services for Mrs. Dixon will be held Saturday afternoon, April 22, 2023, at 12 o’clock from the Enon Cemetery.
