Mr. Norman Richard Wallace, 83 of Blackshear, passed away Sunday morning, August 22, 2021, at Baptist Village.
Born in Clarksville, NY on November 21, 1937, he had lived in Tampa, FL for many years before moving to Pierce County fifteen years ago. Mr. Wallace was retired from Tampa Electric Company where he had worked in Inventory Control. In his younger days he had enjoyed scuba diving as well as cave diving. He also enjoyed playing golf and in his later years found a passion for woodworking. Mr. Wallace was a member of the Blackshear First United Methodist Church.
He was a son of the late Fred Edward & Dorthea Adalade Cole Wallace. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Irma Lou “Bunny” Eastman Wallace; and a brother, Edward Wallace.
Survivors include two sons and a daughter-in-law, Bradley Wallace and Tim & Donna Wallace all of Blackshear; two grandchildren, Alexis Wallace and Addison Wallace; and several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
As per Mr. Wallace’s wishes, there will be no public service.
Memorialization will be by cremation.
