Milbur "Peewee" Hendrix

Mr. Milbur "Peewee" Hendrix, 57 of Waycross, went to be with the Lord Monday morning, July 12, 2022.

Born in Florida on April 23, 1965, he had lived in Pierce, Ware, and Brantley counties all his life.  Mr. Hendrix had worked in the poultry industry as well as the lumber industry for many years and was always a hard worker.  He was a Christian and was also a loving father and grandfather.

He was a son of the late Wilbur Riley & Hazel Inez Youmans Hendrix.  He was also preceded in death by a grandson, Jacob Butts; a sister, Vicky Verna Williams; and two brothers, infant Wilbur Hendrix and Marcus Hendrix.

Survivors include his three daughters, Casey Butts of Hawkinsville, Mandi (Kris) Wright of Waycross, and Caitlin Hendrix (Zet) of Macon; a sister, Angel (Jake) Jacobs of Manning, SC; 9 grandchildren, Makayla, Jeremy, James, Layla, Jayla, Nathan, Elijah, Zakiyah, and Kaliyah; 2 great grandchildren, Jesus and Gabriel; and several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

Graveside services for Mr. Hendrix will be held Tuesday morning, July 19, 2022, at 11:00 o'clock from the Hoboken Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the cemetery one hour prior to the service.
