Ms. Meloney Jean Wilkes Stutts, 57, of Blackshear, passed away early Friday afternoon, March 8, 2024, at her residence, surrounded by her family.
Born in Swainsboro, GA on December 4, 1966, she had lived in Pierce County for the last two years, previously residing in Twin City. She had been a consultant for Paparazzi Jewelry for many years. Her absolute favorite place in the world to spend time was at the beach. Meloney loved spending time with her girls, singing karaoke and doing their nails. Her favorite TV show was The Golden Girls. She was of the Pentecostal faith.
She is preceded in death by a son, Michael McClellan.
She is survived by her parents, Colon (Debra) Wilkes, of Hartford, AL, and Mary Marsh Odum of Swainsboro; daughters, Natalie Drew of Swainsboro, Terri Howard of Twin City, Tina (Dwight) Young of Blackshear, Amy (Justin) Crane of Waycross, Miranda Kay (Joseph) Brantley of Swainsboro, and Elizabeth Revels of Blackshear; sisters, Deeann (Greg) Tindall of Hartford, AL, Selina Vaughn of Dothan, AL, Joy Renew of Vidalia, and Renee Haymen and Nedra (Dean) Hood all of Swainsboro; brothers, Matthew Wilkes of Swainsboro, Timothy (Renee) Wilkes, Joseph (Dawn) Booker of Hartford, AL, Ricky (Kim) Booker, of Dothan, AL, William (Angela) Weeks of Port Bolivar, TX, and Buddy (Dottie) Tapley of Winnie, TX; grandchildren, Christian, Hailey, Kaitlyn, Shaylynn, Whyatt, Philliph, Kaleb, Neveah, Chloe, Joselynn, Aiden, Brandon, Serenity, Savannah, and Coleman; and several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
Funeral services for Ms. Meloney will be held Tuesday evening, March 12, 2024, at 6:00 o’clock from the Pearson-Dial Funeral Home Chapel.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to service.
Memorialization will be by cremation.
