Mrs. Mary Judy Erdmier Breland, 74 of Lake Jackson, TX, passed away Friday evening, October 22, 2021, at her residence.
Born in Freeport, IL on June 19, 1947, she had lived in Georgia for many years where she had been an LPN. She later moved to Mississippi where she was a secretary for a construction company, and later became a secretary for the Investigative Division for the state of Mississippi. Ten years ago, she moved to her current home of Lake Jackson, TX. She loved to watch her granddaughters play softball and also enjoyed hunting and fishing with her husband, traveling and going on cruises, and playing cards with her friends. Judy will be remembered as a loving wife and grandmother and will be missed by all of her family and friends. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Lake Jackson.
She was a daughter of the late Harry August & Georgia Elizabeth O’Steen Erdmier. She was also preceded in death by her sisters, Joann Fulton and Debra Wall; and by a brother, Joe Erdmier.
Survivors include her husband of 27 years, Charles David Breland of Lake Jackson, TX; her stepdaughter, Emily (Heath) Tanner of Lake Jackson, TX; her stepson, David (Susan) Breland of Moss Point, MS; two brothers, Randy (Linda) Erdmier of Waycross and Tim (Teresa) Erdmier of Statesboro; her grandchildren, Brooke Tanner, Dara Tanner, Peyton Tanner, and Ethan Breland; and several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
Graveside services for Mrs. Breland will be held Saturday morning, October 30, 2021, at 10 o’clock at the Winn-Thomas Cemetery.
