Mary Lois (Clifton) Beverly

Ms. Mary Lois Clifton Beverly, 71, of Blackshear, passed away Monday evening, May 1, 2023, at her residence.

Born in Blackshear, GA on August 19, 1951, she had lived in Pierce County most of her life.  Ms. Beverly was a 1969 graduate of Blackshear High School and had worked for Family Dollar for several years.  She enjoyed going out to eat with and spending time with friends, fishing, and cooking.  Ms. Beverly was a member of the Blackshear Church of God.

She was a daughter of the late Leander Clifton and Sarah Kathleen Owens Smith & Frank Smith.  She was also preceded in death by her sister, Connie Allday.

Survivors include her daughter, Alicia (Kenny) Aldridge of Waycross; two sons, Kevin Guest (Nicole) of Jacksonville and Shannon (Ava) Guest of Folkston; a sister, Bonnie (Lamar) Roberson of Blackshear; two brothers, Irving (Marie) Smith and Wayne (Linda) Smith all of Blackshear; a brother-in-law, Frankie Allday of Blackshear; 5 grandchildren, Jesse (Travis) Kiser, Wade Aldridge, Kelby Guest, Taylor Guest, and Savannah Guest; 7 great grandchildren, Trinity Kiser, Cailyn Kiser, Ayden Kiser, Jace Aldridge, Raegan Aldridge, Ava Charity, and Cannon Demery; and several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

Funeral services for Ms. Beverly will be held Thursday morning, May 4, 2023, at 11:00 o’clock from the Blackshear Church of God with Rev. Clinton Kearney and Rev. John Williams officiating.

The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the service.

Interment will be in the Enon Cemetery.
