Mrs. Margaret Anne Whitfield Boatright, 79 of Patterson, passed away Monday, February 15, 2021, at Orange Park Medical Center following a sudden illness.
Born in Patterson, GA on December 13, 1941, she had lived in Pierce County all of her life. Mrs. Boatright was a graduate of Patterson High School. She had been the secretary for WKUB radio for over 50 years and retired in 2019. She enjoyed watching game shows such as Wheel of Fortune and Family Feud but her true hobby was taking care of her family and loving on her grandchildren. Mrs. Boatright was a member of First United Methodist Church.
She was the daughter of the late Harold Whitfield and Grace Raulerson King. She was also preceded in death by her son, Robert Leslie Boatright, who passed away the day before her, February 14, 2021.
Survivors include her husband of 57 years, Thomas Franklin “Rab” Boatright of Patterson; her daughter, Anna Maria Boatright of Patterson; her son and daughter-in-law, Greg & Lisa Boatright of Patterson; 3 grandchildren, Hunter Boatright, Tyler Boatright, and Maggie Ann Boatright; 2 great grandchildren, Browning Boatright and Gabbi Boatright; and several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
Graveside services for Mrs. Boatright will be held Thursday morning, February 18, 2021, at 10:00 o’clock from the Laura Chapel Cemetery.
Visitation will be held at the cemetery one hour prior to the service.
