Lora Melanie Sinclair

Ms. Lora Melanie Sinclair, 52 of Mershon, passed away Wednesday morning, September 2, 2020, at her residence.

Born in Alma, GA on March 31, 1968, she had lived in Pierce County most of her life.  Lora was a 1986 graduate of Pierce County High School and went on to graduate from Armstrong State College with her degree in Nursing.  She was a gifted nurse showing compassion and love to countless patients during her career with Pierce County Home Health.  She truly enjoyed helping and caring for others.  Lora always had a ready, open smile and a kind word for everyone.  She loved to laugh and her giggle was infectious often causing others to laugh just from hearing her.  She loved listening to music, being with family and friends, and worshipping Jesus.  Lora was a member of Bristol Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her father, Rev. Lonzo Jackson “Jack” Sinclair.

Survivors include her mother, Jean Crosby Sinclair of Mershon; her siblings, Lon & Teresa Sinclair of Mershon and Wendy & Joel Price of Patterson; her grandmother, Mrs. Beatrice Crosby of Mershon; nieces and nephews, Mitch & Breanna Sinclair and their son, Hunner, Luke Sinclair, Maggie Sinclair, and Oliver Price; a special friend, Jimmie Douberly of Patterson; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, and numerous friends.

A memorial service for Lora will be held Friday afternoon, September 4, 2020, at 2:00 pm at the Pearson-Dial Funeral Home Chapel.

The family will receive friends in the chapel lobby immediately following the service.

Memorialization will be by cremation.
