Mrs. Linda Victoria “Vicki” Wasdin Herrin, 67 of Hoboken, passed away early Friday morning, August 27, 2021, at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
Born in Waycross, GA on June 16, 1954, she had lived in Brantley and Pierce Counties most of her life. Mrs. Herrin farmed with her husband, Roger, for many years and also worked with him as a boilermaker as US Boiler and Tube. She loved to fish and tend to her flowers. Mrs. Herrin was a happy-go-lucky person who dearly loved her family and enjoyed spending time with them. She was a member of Laura Chapel Baptist Church.
She was a daughter of the late William Cullen & Jewel Nadine Courson Wasdin, Sr. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Barbara Will.
Survivors include her husband of 49 years, Roger Herrin of Hoboken; her daughter, Wendy Herrin of Hoboken; her son, Jessie Roger Herrin of Hoboken; three sisters, Patricia Ann Wasdin of Jesup, Nancy (Mike) Minten of Columbia, MO, and Kathy (Randy) Herrin of Patterson; two brothers, Bill Wasdin of Hoboken and Grover (Loretta) Wasdin of Blackshear; 5 grandchildren, Caleb Herrin, Brandon Herrin, Jordan Christian, K. J. Christian, and Jaylen Christian; and several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
Memorialization will be by cremation.
The family will have a memorial service for Mrs. Herrin at a later time.
