Kenny Dittrick Obituary

Mr. Kenny Ray Dittrick, 70 of Patterson, passed away Tuesday, May 17, 2022, at Memorial Satilla Health.

Born in Columbia, TN on June 14, 1951, he had lived in Westland, MI for many years prior to moving to Patterson in 2009.  Mr. Dittrick had built transmissions at the Ford Motor Company and retired in 2001.  He enjoyed attending Pierce County Bear football games and gardening and loved his Ford Mustang.  Mr. Dittrick dearly loved his church (Faith Baptist Church in Blackshear) and his church family.  He was a devoted husband who will be forever missed by all who knew him.   

He was the son of the late Stephen Donald & Sarah Frances Dugger Dittrick.  He was also preceded in death by his daughter, Tina Louise Dittrick Delong; and a sister, Faith Dittrick.

Survivors include his wife, Doris Powers Dittrick of Patterson; his son-in-law, Jim Delong of Westland, MI; his sister, Gay Dittrick of Patterson; 2 grandchildren, Brandon Delong and Matthew (Katy) Sizemore; 2 great grandchildren, Reid Sizemore and Dani Bromley-Sizemore; a niece, Amanda Sarah Hoover; nephews, Owen Hoover and Gary Hoover, III; as well as several other nieces, nephews, and relatives.

Funeral services for Mr. Dittrick will be held Saturday morning, May 21, 2022, at 11 o’clock from the Faith Baptist Church in Blackshear with Rev. Mark Summers and Rev. I. B. Boyette officiating.

The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the service.

Mr. Dittrick will be entombed at the Cadillac Memorial Gardens West in Westland, MI on Tuesday, May 24, 2022, at 11 o’clock with Rev. Mark Summers officiating.
