Kenneth Lawton "Kenny" Sellers

Mr. Kenneth Lawton “Kenny” Sellers, 77 of Hortense, passed away Thursday evening, June 10, 2021, at his residence.
 
Born in Patterson, GA on March 17, 1944, he had lived in Brantley County most of his life.  Mr. Sellers had worked as a farmer and self-employed brick mason and loved bobcat hunting, fishing and his horses.  He was a member of Satilla Missionary Baptist Church.
 
He was a son of the late James Lawton & Gertrude Herrin Sellers.  He was also preceded in death by an infant son, Tony Sellers; & by a sister, Yvonne DePratter.
  
Survivors include his wife of 59 years, Wanda Roberson Sellers of Hortense; his son and daughter-in-law, Greg & Dana Sellers of Hortense; his sister, Kay Sellers of Interlachen, FL; his brother, David “Buddy” (Lavonne) Sellers of Hortense; 5 grandchildren, Josh Sellers, Chris (Corey) Harper, Hunter (Donna) Sellers, Nikki Sellers, and Lexi Harper; 3 great grandchildren, Gracie Harper, Ella Harper, & Meiah Sellers; a special friend, Juarez Strickland of Patterson; and several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
 
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday evening, June 12, 2021, from 7 until 9 pm.
 
Memorialization will be by cremation.
