Keith Loran Foskey

Mr. Keith Loran Foskey, 50, of Blackshear, passed away Tuesday evening, April 30, 2024, at the Hospice Satilla Hospice House.

Born in Blackshear, GA on March 11, 1974, he lived in Pierce County since the mid 90’s.  Keith was a 1992 graduate of Ware County High School having been active in baseball.  He would go on to graduate from Valdosta University and begin his career in finance in the mobile home industry.  He was the cost accountant for Scottbuilt Homes for several years prior to becoming ill.  Keith was an avid Georgia Bulldog fan and loved getting together with his friends on Saturdays to watch the game.  He also enjoyed sports, especially baseball as well as softball.  He attended Emmanuel Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Zeak & Audrey Vernell Steedley and his paternal grandparents, Fluker Leon Foskey and Doris Veneta Dykes.

Survivors include his wife, Christi Carter Jones Foskey of Blackshear; his children, Karrigan Foskey of Atlanta, and Ethan Foskey and Gavin Foskey both of Cochran; his step-children, Calli Ann Jones of Blackshear, and Carter Jones and Caleb (Chelsea) Jones all of Patterson; his parents, Tom & Tanya Steedley Foskey of Alma; his father-in-law, Terry Carter of Blackshear; his brother-in-law, Art Carter of Atlanta; his step-granddaughter, Collins Kelly Jones; and several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

Funeral services for Keith will be held Friday afternoon, May 3, 2024, at 2:00 from the Pearson-Dial Chapel with Rev. Mike Stone officiating.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday evening from 6 until 8 at the funeral home.

Honorary pallbearers will be David Dobbs, Wayne Gilmore, Neil Erdmier, Norman White, David Callaway, and Rodney Spivey.

Memorialization will be by cremation.
