Karita Robinson Obituary

Proverbs 31: 10-12

10] Who can find a capable wife? Her value is far more than that of corals. Her husband trusts her from his heart, And he lacks nothing of value. 12] She rewards him with good, not bad, All the days of her life.

Mrs. Karita Latrice Robinson, age 44, of Lithia Springs, Georgia, formerly of Patterson, Georgia, peacefully entered eternal rest on Friday, July 3, 2026, at Emory Hospital in Atlanta, Georgia, surrounded by the love of her family.

Karita was born on December 27, 1981, in Blackshear, Georgia, to Guylee and Helen Washington. She was a proud 2000 graduate of Pierce County High School and went on to earn a bachelor's degree from Georgia Southern University. Committed to lifelong learning and professional excellence, she later earned a Master of Finance from Strayer University.

Karita built a distinguished career in the banking industry, serving with dedication and integrity at BB&T and later Truist Bank. Through years of hard work and leadership, she advanced to the position of Senior Vice President, Business Risk Advisor II, where she was highly respected by colleagues for her professionalism, wisdom, and unwavering commitment to excellence.

A faithful believer in Christ, Karita was a devoted member of Cornerstone Baptist Church in Lithia Springs, Georgia. Her faith guided her life and was reflected in the kindness, grace, and compassion she extended to everyone she met.

More than any professional accomplishment, Karita treasured her family. She was a loving wife, devoted mother, cherished daughter, caring sister, and loyal friend. Her greatest joy was spending time with those she loved, creating lasting memories, offering encouragement, and sharing her beautiful smile. Her gentle spirit, generous heart, and unwavering love will forever remain in the hearts of all who knew her.

Karita was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Cleveland Hollis, Sr, and Lavon Lincoln.; her paternal grandmother, Betty R. Washington; her beloved aunts, Bertha Lincoln, Maxine Wright, and Benedine Jefferson; and her uncle Wesley Lincoln, Jr.

She leaves to cherish her precious memory her loving husband, Quincy Robinson of Lithia Springs, Georgia; three beloved daughters, Azaniah Jones of Summerville, South Carolina, Hollis Robinson, and Harper Robinson, both of Lithia Springs, Georgia; her devoted parents, Guylee and Helen Washington of Offerman, Georgia; her loving sister, Jasmine Washington of Warner Robins, Georgia; and her cherished grandfather, Daniel Washington of Offerman, Georgia.

She is also survived by her loving parents-in-love, Andrew and Sylvia Robinson; her brother-in-love, Nico (Jennifer) Robinson; one special nephew, Braylon Washington; and three special nieces, Mailani Robinson, Aubree Brown, and Drew Robinson.

Karita also shared a special bond with her beloved aunts and uncles, whom she loved dearly: Herman (Connie) Lincoln of Patterson, Georgia; Cleveland (Catherine) Hollis of Waycross, Georgia; Roosevelt (Linda) Hollis of Waycross, Georgia; Melvin (Ramona) Hollis of Patterson, Georgia; Jerome (Jeanette) Lincoln of Blackshear, Georgia; Jadon Lincoln of Lexington Park, Maryland; Paula Washington of Jacksonville, Florida; Hazel Ferguson of Waycross, Georgia; Blondell Mobley of Patterson, Georgia; and Mabalene Baker of Waycross, Georgia.

Although Karita's earthly journey ended far too soon, her legacy of faith, love, strength, and compassion will continue to live on through her family, friends, and all who were blessed to know her. She will be deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten. Karita shared a special closeness with her cousins, family members, high school and college friends, and colleagues.
