Judy Marie (Lambert) Davis

Mrs. Judy Marie Davis, 72, of Blackshear, passed away Tuesday evening, December 10, 2024, at Memorial Satilla Health in Waycross.

Born in Georgetown, SC on September 28, 1952, she lived in Appling County prior to moving to Pierce County two and half years ago.  She loved reading and listening to worship music.  A homemaker, she loved spending time with loved ones, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  She was a member of New Life Assembly of God in Blackshear.

She was a daughter of the late Solomon Lee and Lena Mae Michou Lambert.  She was also preceded in death by six of her siblings, Harvey Lambert, Joyce Quickle, Clyde Lambert, Naomi Parker, Jimmy Chance, and Donnie Shealy.

Survivors include her children, Angel (Benny) Gillette of Baxley, Christy (Richard) Roberts of Blackshear, and Michael O’Neal Davis of Baxley; a sister, Betty Shuler of Anderson, SC; three brothers, Ronnie (Lisa) Shealy of Summerville, SC, Bobby Mills of Moncks Corner, SC, and Gary Lambert of South Carolina; 6 grandchildren, Ally (Jesse) Greene of Odum, Richard (Grace) Roberts, III and Taylor Creel, all of Blackshear, David (Julia) Roberts of Avon Park, FL, Emily Davis and Thomas Davis, both of Moncks Corner, SC; 3 great-grandchildren, Lyric and Rhythm Greene and Lily Roberts; 3 sisters-in-law, Lisa Shealy of Summerville, SC, Connie Lambert of Lake City, SC, and Debbie Hobgood of Andrews, SC; several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

Memorialization was by cremation.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
