Mr. Joshua Andrew “Josh” Sapp, 31 of Blackshear, passed away Monday morning, December 21, 2020, at Memorial Satilla Health.
Born in Orange Park, FL on June 4, 1989, he had lived in Pierce County all of his life. Josh was a 2007 graduate of Pierce County High School and was employed as a plant manager for Alma Pak. Josh was a hard worker and an incredible husband and father who did anything and everything for his family. His boys were his world and he so loved doing things with them like hunting, fishing, riding four-wheelers, and sports (he loved to help coach his boy’s teams). Josh enjoyed traveling with his family – their trips were always filled with fun and laughter – and he also enjoyed working on his trucks, Chevrolets, of course. He was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Jean Sweller; and his paternal grandfather, Johnny Sapp.
Survivors include his wife of 11 years, Kasey Drawdy Sapp of Blackshear; two sons, Camson Sapp and Caden Sapp both of Blackshear; his father, Jason Sapp of Blackshear; three brothers, Justin Sapp of Savannah, Tre’ Wright of Douglas, and A. J. Smith of Jacksonville; his paternal grandmother, Jennie Sellers of Blackshear; his aunt, Samantha (Robert Padgett) Sapp of Jacksonville; his in-laws, Joe & Karen Drawdy of Blackshear; his brother-in-law, Tyler Drawdy of Blackshear; and several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
Graveside services for Josh will be held Thursday morning, December 24, 2020, at 11:00 o’clock from the Blackshear City Cemetery.
Due to COVID-19 and the impact it has had on this family, social distancing guidelines and the use of facemasks are required. Unfortunately, due to the situation, hugging, shaking hands, and any other physical contact is highly discouraged.
