Obituary

Born in Waycross, GA on October 14, 1981, he had lived in Ware and Brantley Counties all of his life. Josh was a 2001 graduate of Brantley County High School. In January of 2002, Josh had a life-changing four-wheeler accident which resulted in him having a traumatic brain injury and stroke. He was always a loving son who loved to tell jokes and make you laugh. Before his accident he loved to hunt and fish. Things changed following the accident. Josh still loved to fish but he was no longer able to hunt. He found joy in riding his golf cart around the neighborhood and taking the neighborhood kids for rides. His love for children would have made him a great dad and his family is so grateful the neighborhood kids that made him so happy.

He was a grandson of the late Dennis D. & Betty Crutchfield Fulford, Jr. and the late Thomas Newbern Bennett and Edna Smiley Tuttle.

Survivors include his parents, Dennis & Deborah Bennett Fulford, III of Waycross; his sister and brother-in-law, Charitie & Scott Allen of Waycross; his brother, Ed Gill of Waycross; nieces and nephews, Tessa Ferguson, Sierra Ferguson, Triston Gill, and Dalton Gill; great niece and nephew, Kyler O’Quinn and Allie Melton; four aunts, Marleen Crawford of Floridam Linda Brewer of Waycross, Marilyn & Alex Peavey of Blackshear, and Dale & Ricky Sheys of Waycross; an uncle, Jeff & Ann Fulford of Waycross; and several other relatives.
