Mr. John Aaron Lowe, 56, of Blackshear, passed away late Tuesday night, February 11, 2020, at the Hospice Satilla Hospice House.
Born in Waycross, GA on February 7, 1964, he had lived in Ware and Pierce Counties all of his life. Mr. Lowe had been a heavy equipment operator for T. & M. Forestry for the last 11 years and had worked in construction prior to entering the Timber business. He enjoyed going to the races/tractor pulls and riding dirt roads but the thing he enjoyed most was just working. He was of the Baptist faith.
He was a son of the late Ocie Clark & Nada Lou Wall Lowe, Jr. He was also preceded in death by an infant son, Christopher Lowe; a sister, Daisy Smith; and by his brother, Buddy Lowe.
Survivors include his wife, Petresa Bennett of Blackshear; his daughter, Jessica Lowe of Waycross; two sons, Tyler Ticefelt and Neal Carr both of Blackshear; four sisters, Teresa (John) Boatright of Blackshear, Rebecca (Mike) Barber and Maryann (Jerry) Lott both of Alma, and Loree Crews of Waycross; a sister-in-law, Elizabeth Lowe of Blackshear; 3 grandchildren, Caleb Raulerson, William Burney, and Kaylee Mare Callaway; 12 nieces and nephews, Clark, Cale, Brad, Matt, Julie, Erica, Hope, Lindsay, David, Little John, Jonathan, and Jacob; and several other relatives and friends.
Funeral services for Mr. Lowe will be held Saturday afternoon, February 15, 2020, at 1:00 o’clock from the Pearson-Dial Chapel.
Interment will be in the Waters Cemetery.
Visitation for Mr. Lowe will be held Friday evening from 6 until 8 at the funeral home.
