Mr. Jimmie Jerry Reddish, 70, of Blackshear, passed away Sunday morning, January 26, 2025, at Harborview Satilla in Waycross.
Born in Hazlehurst, GA on November 22, 1954, he lived in Pierce County most of his adult life. Mr. Reddish was a US Army veteran and retired from J. W. Boyett Trucking where he was a truck driver. In his free time, he enjoyed saltwater fishing and working on boats and had loved to ride his Harley when he was able.
He was a son of the late Jimmie Walter Reddish and Maggie Eason Nunn. He was also preceded in death by his son, Buddy Reddish; and by his sister, Mary Alice Crump.
Survivors include his wife, Lynn Thornton Reddish of Blackshear; his daughter and son-in-law, Tina & Eric Brogan of Winder; his brother, John Randy Reddish of Patterson; a grandchild, Jorga Reddish; and several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
Memorialization will be by cremation.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, February 1, 2025, from 2-4 pm.
