Jeffrey David Nicholls

Mr. Jeffrey David Nicholls, 60, of Nahunta, passed away suddenly Friday morning, July 28, 2023, at his residence.

 Born in Panama City, FL on March 13,1963, he lived in Brantley County most of his life.  Mr. Nicholls was retired from the United States Postal Service.  He loved spending his free time tinkering on things, as well as working on cars and woodworking.  He was a big fan of NASCAR, but most importantly, he loved his family and his grandchildren.

He was the only son of the late David Jefferson and Norma Faye Dykes Nicholls.  He was also preceded in death by two grandchildren.

Survivors include three sons, Wesley Nicholls of Nahunta, Kevin (Chrissy) Nicholls of Macclenny, FL, and Eric (Chelsea) Nicholls of Waycross; two sisters, Sherri (Rev. Tim) Hall of Folkston, and Heidi (Ernie) Thomas of Nahunta; six grandchildren, Chevy, Levi, Branson, Martin, Faye, and Fallon; and several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

Funeral services for Mr. Nicholls will be held Wednesday morning, August 2, 2023, at 11:00 o’clock from the Pearson-Dial Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Ernie Thomas officiating.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home chapel one hour prior to the service.

Interment will be in the Hortense Cemetery.
