Mr. James Robert “Jim” Woods, 61, of Waycross, passed away late Thursday night, January 9, 2025, at his home in Waycross.
Born in Miami, FL, on August 4, 1963, he served in the United States Navy after graduation. After his service, he returned home and ran his own property management company. In his spare time, he loved to cook, but also enjoyed a good meal out, as well as fishing and watching movies. Mr. Woods had resided in Waycross for the last 20 years.
He was the son of the late George Robert Woods. He was also preceded in death by one of his fur babies, Puggy.
Survivors include his mother, Elizabeth Langford Kinsman of Blackshear; his sister and brother-in-law, Eve & Dan Hazen of Blackshear; his two best friends, Edwin Kirkland and Christopher Fredrick; his canine kids, Hunter and Buddy; and his nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
Memorialization will be by cremation. No service is planned at this time.
