James Howard Obituary
Mr. James Loren Howard, 81, of Metter, passed away Monday, October 19, 2020, at Memorial Health Systems in Savannah.
Born in Blackshear, GA on December 23, 1938, he had lived in Brunswick, GA for several years prior to moving to Waycross where he had been a resident of The White House. He had just recently moved to Metter, GA. Mr. Howard was disabled but had found a true love for arts and crafts including drawing for which he had been very good at. He was of the Baptist faith.
He was a son of the late James Woodrow & Murriel Geneva Henderson Howard.
Survivors include his daughter and son-in-law, Virginia “Ginger” & Adam Smith of Ludowici; his son and daughter-in-law, James & Michelle Howard of Dayton, TN; 4 grandchildren; and 7 great grandchildren.
Graveside services for Mr. Howard will be held Saturday afternoon, October 23, 2020, at 2:00 o’clock from the Shiloh Cemetery.
