Helen Delores (Bargeron) Easter

Mrs. Helen Delores Bargeron Easter, 74 of Pocatello, ID, passed away Friday, December 17, 2021, at her residence.

Born in Callahan, FL on April 27, 1947, she had lived in Hastings, FL for many years prior to moving to Idaho recently. She had worked as a waitress and cashier most of her life.  She loved doing puzzles and crossword puzzles, fishing, going to the beach where she would collect seashells, watching the Sci-Fi channel (alien programs were her favorite), gardening, and just being with her family.

She was a daughter of the late Clifford & Helen Brooker Bargeron. She was also preceded in death by all of her siblings.

Survivors include her husband, Rick Thompson of Pocatello; three daughters and a son-in-law, Lorie (Ricky) Robichaux of Hastings, Tammy Stafford of Jacksonville, FL, and Carolyn Banks of Middleburg, FL; two sons and daughters-in-law, Michael & Marcie Taft of Green Cove Springs, FL and Bobby & Tabitha Oglesby of Jacksonville, FL; 12 grandchildren, Lisa Smith, Rebecca Robichaux, Mindy Robichaux, Brandon Oglesby, Robert Smith, Phillip Robichaux, Kenneth Banks, Aaron (Jennifer) Taft, Brittany (Chuck) Parks, Tiffany Banks, Ashley (John) Edenfield, and Courtney Taft; 19 great grandchildren; 2 great, great grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

Graveside services for Ms. Easter will be held Thursday morning, December 30, 2021, at 11:00 o’clock from the Waters Cemetery.
