Glenn Ray Mason

Mr. Glenn Ray Mason, 59, of Blackshear, passed away Sunday, December 24, 2023, at his residence.

Born in Orlando, FL on October 9, 1964, he lived in Kissimmee, FL for many years before moving to Pierce County seventeen years ago.  Mr. Mason was a plastics fabricator at his father’s business, Mason Plastics in Winchester, TN.  He also loved to tinker with bicycles and many will remember him riding the motorized bicycle around town.  He was in the process of starting to build some motorized bicycles for people in our area when he passed away.  Mr. Mason also loved to fish and play pool and spend time with his pet dogs.

He was a son of the late Estella Collins Mason.

Survivors include his two sons and a daughter-in-law, Scott Mason of Blackshear and Steven & Aneika Mason of Patterson; his father, William R. “Bill” Mason of Belvidere, TN; a brother and sister-in-law, Russell & Lisa Mason of Winchester, TN; his former mother-in-law who was like a second mom to him, Lillian Taylor of Blackshear; 3 grandchildren, Alexis Mason, Connor Mason, and Carleigh Mason; and several nieces and other relatives.

Funeral services for Mr. Mason will be held Friday morning, December 29, 2023, at 11:00 o’clock from the Pearson-Dial Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Freddie Walker officiating.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday morning one hour prior to the service.

Interment will be in the Blackshear Cemetery.
