Elizabeth Alene Taylor

Ms. Elizabeth Alene “Aunt Bunny” Taylor, 83 of Patterson, passed away early Saturday morning, February 26, 2022, at her brother’s residence.

Born in Blackshear, GA on March 11, 1936, Elizabeth was raised in Jacksonville, FL where she eventually received her nursing degree.  She later moved to Houston, TX and spent most of her life serving as an LPN. She traveled back to her hometown where she stayed, until moving to Patterson to be closer with her family. Although she never married or had children, Elizabeth always thought of her nieces and nephews as her own.

She was a daughter of the late Ervin & Annie Lee Strickland Taylor.  She was also preceded in death by her sister, Renie Telzer; a brother, Earl Taylor; and two nephews, Lou Telzer and Dana Telzer.

Survivors include her brother, Edward Taylor of Patterson; nieces and nephews, Gail Perry, Cathy Taylor, Alex Taylor, Marie Conova, Jan Griffis, Bubba Taylor, Pam Walker, Debbie Taylor, and Jamie Taylor; and numerous great nieces,

A graveside service for Ms. Taylor will be held Tuesday afternoon, March 1, 2022, at 2:30 from the Patterson Cemetery.
