Deborah "Debbie" Lee (Henderson) Tootle

Ms. Deborah Lee “Debbie” Henderson Tootle, 65, of Blackshear, passed away Saturday, April 5, 2025, under the care of Advent Health Hospice - Fish Memorial in Orange City, FL.

Born in Blackshear, GA on July 21, 1959, she lived in Blackshear most of her life.  Debbie was a homemaker and enjoyed a good card game as well as playing spades online.  She loved music and, in her later years, enjoyed keeping up with family and friends on Facebook.  She was of the Baptist faith.

She was the daughter of the late James Horace & Sarah Helen Smiley Henderson.  She was also preceded in death by her brother, James Michael Henderson.

Survivors include her special friend who was like a sister, Stacey (Jesse) Jones of Blackshear; an aunt, Lillian Smiley of Blackshear; an uncle, Ander Henderson of Kingsland; special cousins, Joseph Henderson of Kingsland, David Henderson of Marietta, and Tammy Griffin, Terry Griffin, and Neal Griffin all of Blackshear; and several other relatives.

Memorialization will be by cremation.

Interment will be in the Blackshear Cemetery.
