David Wayne Dixon

Mr. David Wayne Dixon, 36 of Waycross, passed away Thursday, March 26, 2020, at his residence.

Born in Waycross, GA on March 8, 1984, he had lived in Ware County all of his life.  David was employed with Wal-Mart in their maintenance department.  He enjoyed working with computers, playing computer games, and working out at the gym.  David was a quiet and caring person who will be dearly missed.

He was a son of the late Jerry Wayne & Sandra Dale Dixon. 

Survivors include his three brothers, Tim Dixon and Todd Dixon both of Oklahoma and Keith Dixon of Waycross; his grandmother, Judy Dixon of Waycross; aunts, Sherry Dixon of Blackshear, Margie (Ethan) Highsmith of Waycross, and Lisa (Randy) Williams of Blackshear; uncles, Revis Lewis (Shelly) Dixon of Blackshear and Rodney (Barbara Ann) Dixon of Nicholls; and several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

Memorialization is by cremation.  David’s family will honor his memory at a later time due to situation concerning the COVID-19 virus.
